Lottie J. Morgan, 94, of Ronceverte went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a short illness. Born June 9, 1920 at Ronceverte she was the last surviving child of eight children to the late Granville and Mamie Morgan. Lottie attended the Mt. Zion Primitive Baptist Church at Ronceverte. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Larue Morgan; granddaughter, Cathy Anderson; three sisters, Anna Morgan, Ruth Morgan, and Cinderella Hylton and four brothers, Corbie Morgan, Howard Morgan, Jim Morgan, and Dallas Morgan. Lottie is survived by her children, Arbutus "Boot" Morgan and Eddie of Salem, VA., Annabelle Loomis and Jack of Ronceverte, Tom Norman and Twila of Ronceverte, Bonnie Hall and Freddie of Wirtz, VA., Sharon Buzzard and Jackie of Ronceverte, and Tony Morgan and Sabrina of Ronceverte; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Zion's Light Baptist Church at Ronceverte with Elder Norvel Mann, Rev. Gary Baker, and Elder Thomas Mann officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan Cemetery at Ronceverte.
