Loyd O "Bossman" Hanna

Loyd O. "Bossman" Hanna, 91, of Frankford passed away Monday June 15, 2015 at the Peyton Hospice House. Born April 8, 1924 at Asbury, Loyd was the son of the late Vernon E. and Maggie Kate Crookshanks Hanna. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-five years, Marguerite Flint Hanna in April 2011; a grandson in 1978; his brother, Leland; and an infant sister. Loyd was the last surviving member of his family. He moved to Frankford in 1966 where he became known as the "Bossman". Mr. Hanna is survived by his three children, Dennis Hanna (Libby) of Frankford, Rev. Emory Hanna (Jean) of Renick, and Nancy Gordon (Randy) of Covington, VA; seven grandchildren, Shelby, Kim, Gina, Samantha, Julie, Eric, and Isaiah; three step grandchildren, Kim, Aaron, and Luke; nine great grandchildren; ten step great grandchildren; and one step great great grandson. A visitation and viewing will be held 6:00-9:00PM Thursday June 18, 2015 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg. Per his wishes cremation will follow.
