Margaret Ruth Critzer

LEWISBURG, WV – Margaret Ruth Fogus Critzer, 93 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born December 29, 1928, in Lewisburg, WV she was the daughter of the late John Edgar and Byrda Frances Ridgeway Fogus. Margaret was a member of the Edgewood Presbyterian Church.  She had retired from ABB.  Margaret loved children and was at her happiest when they were around. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Luther Critzer Sr., sons, Charles “Chick” Critzer and Michael Lee Critzer, siblings, Marylee Grimmett, Brownie Shafer, Helen Napier, Phyllis Wilson, Jean Sofil, Harry and Clarence “Buck” Fogus.

Survivors include her children, Cecil Critzer Jr. (Cathy) of Blacksburg, VA, John Critzer (Donna) of Alderson, WV, Lynda Landon of Georgia, and Carolyn Gilbert (Les Kesterson) of Franklin, WV, twelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery.
