LEWISBURG, WV – Ellen Marie Brie, 80, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Peyton Hospice House. Born June 23, 1937 at Ronceverte, WV she was the daughter of the late Albert Eugene and Katherine Mae Ryder Defibaugh. Marie had retired from The Greenbrier and was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Larry K. Brie and an infant daughter, Shelby Jean Brie, sister and brother in law, Daisy (Lawrence) Wilson and brothers in law, Jearl Mabry and, Connie Coff. Survivors include one son, Alan Eugene Brie of Selma, VA, two daughters, Karen (Keith) Boyd of Alderson, WV and Ronda Kay Floyd of Lewisburg, WV, sisters, Frances Mabry of Lewisburg, WV, Gloria (Roy) Zimmerman of Lewisburg, WV and Patricia Coff of Kentucky, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 6:00 PM, Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Nathan Colwell officiating.
