Marietta Jean Holliday

FAIRLEA, WV – Marietta Jean Holliday, 62 of Fairlea, WV passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at her home. Born July 24, 1958 in Ronceverte, WV she was the daughter of the late Basil Merrit and Virgie Marie Weikle Wykle. Marietta attended the Bethesda Church in White Sulphur Springs and was a homemaker. She loved taking pictures, going for rides, and worshiping God. She loved her cats, especially, Cubby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Basil Leon Wykle and a niece, April Bostic. Survivors include one son, David Holliday III (Jennifer), daughters, Peggy and Angela Holliday of Lewisburg, WV, sisters, Althea Holliday (Dave) and Bessie Workman (Jimmy) all of Lewisburg, WV, grandchildren, Randall, Josh, Hunter, Halianna, Desiree and Cassandra. Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Aaron Trigg officiating. Burial will follow in the Honaker Cemetery, Ronceverte, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Tuesday at the funeral home.
