Marjorie L Farren

Marjorie L. Farren, born September 6, 1928 in Sinks Grove, WV, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Brookdale Ormond Beach Assisted Living in Ormond Beach FL. She was the daughter of Gladys B. Shirey and John Klase Longanacre. Marjorie is predeceased by her husband, Jimmy "Pete" Farren of Ronceverte, WV and her brother Charles and wife Louise Longanacre of Ronceverte, WV, and sister-in-laws Ilse Longanacre and Nellie Longanacre.Survived by her brothers, Klase Longanacre of Lawton, OK, and Kenneth Longanacre of Ronceverte, WV. Her son Steven Farren of Caldwell, WV, and daughter Shellene F. Harrison of Ormond Beach, FL. Granddaughters Jessie (Brad) Seldomridge, of Princeton, WV, Faye (Ian) McQuinn of Crosslanes, WV, and Natalie Harrison-Lemons of Cantonment, FL. Great-granddaughters Meredith Seldomridge, Phoenix Harrison, and Alice McQuinn, and many nieces and nephews that were adored by Marjorie.Marjorie joined Pete as a military wife and mother, traveled the world for more than 20 years, meeting wonderful friends who have remained in contact with her. Since living at Brookdale Ormond Beach for the last five years, she has received more love, laughed with, talked to, catered food, manicured and groomed like a starlet, and treated like part of their family. A special thank you to the entire staff of Vitas Hospice, Concierge Care, and All at Home Care for the kindness and love they extended to Marjorie. They are all angels and have given her the best quality of life imaginable.There will be a visitation at Morgan Funeral Home, 429 N. Jefferson St., Lewisburg, WV 24901, on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 5-7pm. The funeral service will be at Ronceverte Presbyterian Church, 305 Locust St, Ronceverte, WV 24970, at 11am on Wednesday December 14, 2016 with Rev. Stephen Baldwin officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Burial following the service will be at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, WV. There will also be a memorial service held in Ormond Beach, FL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the following Hospice of your choice, Ronceverte Presbyterian Church General Fund, or Second
