Mark Lewis Mcdowell

RONCEVERTE, WV – Mark Lewis McDowell, 61 of Ronceverte, WV passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023, at CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born May 2, 1962, in Ronceverte, WV, he was the son of Betty Jean Dean McDowell and the late James Gray McDowell.

Mark loved fishing, camping and hitting golf balls with his brother. He was known as the family athlete in excelled in all sports. Mark was a people person and never met a stranger.  Even though never having his own children, he was great with kids.

Including his mother, survivors are a brother, James David McDowell of Sweet Springs, WV and sister, Deborah Melara, nephew, Shane Melara (Cherie), great nephew, Caleb Morrison and great nieces, Cadance, and Samarah Melara, several cousins.
