ASBURY, WV - Mary Jane Hanna Harvey, 75, of Asbury, WV passed away, Friday, February 24, 2017 at CAMC Memorial, Charleston, WV. Born November 11, 1941 at Rainelle, WV she was the daughter of the late Milton and Edna Ballard Hanna. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Charles "Rusty" Harvey, Jr., an infant sister, Frances Jean Hanna and a sister in law, Brenda Hanna. Mary Jane was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church and served as treasurer for the Asbury Community Center and the Asbury Cemetery. Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years whom she treasured, Charles "Dick" Harvey, Sr., brother, Mickey Hanna of Clintonville, WV, sister, Peggy Sampson and husband Randy of Lewisburg, WV, step grandchildren, Sam Thornberry and Kayln Deloch, nieces and nephews, who lovingly called her "Jane" or "Nannie", Brian Sampson Sr., Jake Sampson, Shelly Sampson, Jason Hanna, John Hanna, Brian Sampson Jr., Savannah and Courtney Moyer, Eli and Summer Sampson, Abbi Hanna and Alex Sampson, sister in law, Doris Smith of Ronceverte, WV, special cousins, Helen Dosier and Jenny Yost and a special family friend whom she thought of as a son, Preston Palumbo, as well as many friends and other relatives who loved her.Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Ron Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Asbury Methodist Church Cemetery, Asbury, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, February 27, 2017 at the funeral home.
