Mary Elizabeth Mccarty

Mary Elizabeth McCarty, 78, of Renick passed away Monday Jan.16, 2012 at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea. Born April 21, 1933 on Spring Creek, she was the daughter of the late Homer Holt and Bertha Mae Mullins McMillion and was preceded in death by her husband, Carl McCarty; son, Jerry and brothers, Herbert, Henry and George Mcmilion. Survivors include her children, Ollie McCarty of York, PA and Larry McCarty of Renick and Buddy Windon, whom she referred to as her adopted son; brothers, Herman McMillion of Lewistown, PA and Everett McMillion of Renick; sisters, Nancy McCarty of Second Creek; Marcia Davis and Susie Arnold of Red Lion, PA; grandson, Jeff McCarty of Brogue, PA; granddaughters, Kristy, Tiffany and Stephanie and five great grandchildren. Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg.
