Max Allen Caldwell

Max Caldwell, 72, of Lewisburg passed away Thursday October 22, 2015 at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea. Born March 25, 1942 at Kayford, he was the son of the late Lacy and Lula Yocum Caldwell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Clifford Caldwell. Max is survived by his wife, Hazel Ratliff Caldwell; sons, Jeffrey Caldwell and Max Allen "J" Caldwell Jr of Roanoke; a daughter, Louella Reid of Roanoke; step children, Gregory Allman and Deborah Ilene Allman; sisters, Patty Dorsey of Charmco, Cozetta Vernon of Gallopolis, OH and Helen Walker (Robert) of Stafford, VA; and brothers, Carroll Caldwell (Violet) of Leewood, Bill Caldwell (Donna) of Rainelle, and Roger Caldwell of Charmco. There will be no services.
