Melvin R. "Babe" Erwin

Melvin R. "Babe" Erwin, 72, of Rainelle, formerly of Ronceverte passed away, Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Born November 6, 1939 at Caldwell, he was the son of the late James William and Anna Elvira Erwin and was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Layman Erwin and a sister, Helen Moss. Among survivors are his three brothers, Robert Erwin of Daniels, Billy Erwin of Jacksonville, FL and Julian Erwin of White Sulphur Springs. A Memorial service will be held 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Ken Brackman officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
