Michael Lee Poe

Michael Lee Poe, 56, of Williamsburg, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 after a long illness.Born March 28, 1960 in Ronceverte, WV, he was the son of Emanuel and Phyllis Poe of Williamsburg. He was a 1978 graduate of Greenbrier East High School. He also attended National Trucking Academy in 1987 and had various jobs including truck driving, maintenance, security, weatherization and produce. Some of his hobbies included fishing, reading, gardening and listening to heavy metal music.He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill and in addition to his parents is survived by his sister, Drema Poe of Middletown, OH; son, Aaron Poe(Courtney McCoy) of Williamsburg; daughter, Rebekah Kirby(Briton)of Alderson; the mother of his children, Karen Kelly of Lewisburg; four nephews and two great nieces.A Memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev.
