She was preceeded in death by her father George "Sonny" McIntire. Shelly is survived by her beloved companion and "hubby" Larry Two-Rivers Brown; mother, Mary Lee McIntire Entsminger; brother Michael "Mack" McIntire (Alicia); sister Sandy McIntire Peters (Robert); and her fur-babies - dog Nikeeta, cats Willow and Seleh. Shelly is survived by aunts, uncles, nephews and neices. Her extended family includes hundreds of friends that she loved. Shelly was not diagnosed with the genetic condition, Cystic Fibrosis (CF), until age 24. Her childhood and teen years were mostly normal although she had episodes of illness. She was in little league, was a Junior High Cheerleader, and a member of the Junior High Band. She graduated from Greenbrier East in 1987.Shelly always knew she was different. When she was diagnosed with CF she was relieved to know and begin her CF treatments. As she aged her condition worsened. There is no cure for CF. Please support and pray for CF research to find a cure.Shelly grew in her faith, love of God and courage. Her testimony became bolder and stronger. Her impact on others and her inspiration of so many people has been awesome. While CF impacted her life and her ability to having a career, she loved being a housewife and cooking for her family and friends. She was a member of the AAIWV and enjoyed being part of the Native American Drum. She also participated in Pow Wows as a Jingle Dancer. We cannot express how blessed and proud we have been to be her family and to share her gifts, her faith, and her courage with others.
