Mildred Mines

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV – Mildred June Mines, 86 of White Sulphur Springs, WV passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at the White Sulphur Springs Center. Born July 4, 1937, in Hollywood, WV, she was the daughter of the late Burtia Edgar and Clara Thelma McDowell White. Mrs. Mines retired from White Sulphur Springs Center as a cook. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, working on word puzzles and listening to country music. Most of all Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Randall Mines, infant son, Eric Douglas Mines, brothers, James Myles White, Burtia Edgar White Jr., William Henry White, and sisters, Edith Marie Owens, and Pearl Irene Honaker.

Survivors include her children, Randy Mines (Patsy), Karen Sparks (Tim) and Stephanie Huffman, sister, Mattie Sue White, grandchildren, Michelle Carra (Brian), Alayna Sparks, Adam Sparks, Blaine Huffman (Montana Morgan), great grandchildren, Claire Carra and Abby Carra, special nieces, Belinda Arbogast, Donna Smith (Charles), Susan Early (Tommy), great niece, Crissy Connell (Paul), and special friend of the family, Elizabeth May (Nathan Strong), several other nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Stephen Baldwin officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM until time of the service, Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, WV.
