Monford Warrell Hanna

Monford Warrell Hanna, 83, of Spring Creek passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at his home. Born May 13, 1931 at Rainelle, he was the son of the late Baxter and Mary Freeman Hanna and in addition to his parents was preceded in death by sons, Norman and Glenn Hanna, granddaughter, Gee-Gee Hanna and stepson, Lee Blake Jr. Monford served in the US Army Air Force and was a painter most of his working life. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hanna; children, Mike Hanna and Debby and Monford Hanna Jr and Peggy of Front Royal, VA, Roberta Holobaugh and Curt of California, Robert Hanna and Vanessa and Mary Ann Singer of Texas, Donna Collins and Kevin and Patsy Hanna of Georgia and Sheila Blake of Slaty Fork, WV; step-children, Ressie Windon of Maxwelton and Kevin Blake and Mary of Maxwelton; 23 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren.Service:1:00 PM FridayJanuary 2, 2015GravesideGreenbrier Memorial GardensLewisburg, WVVisitation:11:00 AM to 12:30 PMFriday January 2, 2015Morgan Funeral Home
