Nellie Marie Powell

Nellie Marie Powell, 64 of White Sulphur Springs, WV formerly of Blue Sulphur Springs, WV passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the White Sulphur Springs Center. Born April 1, 1958 in Williamson, WV she was the daughter of the late Roy Monroe Brown and Alice Joyce Cline Brown. Nellie worked as a private caregiver and was a Christian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepbrother, Ralph Brown.

Survivors include her children, Misty Collins (Josh) of Alderson, WV and Jeff Berry of Charleston, WV, sisters, Oma Richardson (Kenny) of Blue Sulphur Springs, WV, Connie Powell (Jerry Ammermon) of Blue Sulphur Springs, WV, Teresa Eanes (Fred) of Roanoke, VA, Shelia Tygrett (Craig) of Rupert, WV and Joyce Brown (Chipper) of Lewisburg, WV, grandchildren, Michael Berry, Madison Griffin, Caressa Collins, Abby Berry, Kennah Collins, Declan Berry and Brielle Berry, special aunts, Geneva Midkiff and Reda Sears, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Blue Sulphur Church with Pastor George Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Brown Family Cemetery. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net . Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
