LEWISBURG, WV - Nina Dixon Martin, 86, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. Born April 6, 1931 at Maxwelton, WV she was the daughter of the late Sandy Glover Banton and Jennie Lee Seldomridge Banton. Nina was a former employee of the C&P Telephone Company as an Operator for many years in Columbus, OH. She loved to read, listen to music and was an avid sports fan (Michigan Wolverines). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank G. Martin, six brothers, Julian, Bill, Sam, Alex, Emory (Boob) and Sandy Banton Jr., four sisters, Mary A. Church, Myrtle Coffey, Florence Loudermilk and Betty Oliver. Survivors include her first husband, W.O. (Jr.) Burns of Lewisburg, WV, step son, Chris Martin of Johnstown, OH, many nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Ron Miller officiating. Entombment will follow in the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, April 28, 2017 at the funeral home.
