Norman Ray Hanna

Norman Ray Hanna, 59, of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at his home. Mr. Hanna was born September 21, 1954 in Maxwelton, WV, son of Monford Hanna of Spring Creek, WV and the late Sue Hefner Leavell. He worked as a self-employed carpenter and was a proud member of the N.R.A. Surviving along with his father are his wife Tammie Hanna of Front Royal; one daughter Kelly Huffman and her husband Shane of Dale City, VA; one son Gary Hanna of Front Royal; siblings, Michael and Montford Hanna, Jr., both of Front Royal, Roberta Holobaugh of CA, Mary Ann Singer of TX, Patricia Powell of GA, Robert Leavell of TX, Donna Collins of GA, Sheila Blake of WV, and James Leavell of GA; and three grandchildren Ashley Huffman, Emily Huffman, and James Hanna. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Morningside Cemetery in Renick, WV, with Pastor Emory Hanna officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal, VA.
