Oney Rixie Hughes

Oney Rixey Hughes, 66, of Lewisburg passed away on Tuesday May 28, 2013 in the White Sulphur Springs Center. Born July 22, 1946 in Raleigh County she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Frances Hodge Fink. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence Edgar Fogus; her second husband, Gary Lee Hughes; and a niece, Frances Martin. Oney attended the Community Pentecostal Holiness Church on Brush Road, Lewisburg. Oney is survived by sons, Charles Fogus and Clarence Fogus and wife, Shirley; daughter, Byrda Tincher and husband, Joey; and her beloved granddaughter, Savannah Tincher all of Lewisburg; a brother, Charles Fink of Ronceverte; a sister, Rebecca Cantrell of Alderson; very special nieces and nephews whom she raised and considered to be her children, Elmer Martin and wife, Roza, Joseph Martin, and Virginia Sofil and Virginia's children; too numerous to list are the many other children that she loved and she helped to raise.Service:11:00 AM FridayMay 31, 2013Morgan Funeral HomeVisitation:6 to 8 PM ThursdayMay 30, 2013Morgan Funeral Home
