Ovid V. Mcmillion Jr.

Ovid V. McMillion Jr. 82, of Renick passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at his home. Born July 16, 1930 at Rorer, WV, he was the son of the late Ovid V. McMillion Sr.and Eva Lee Hollandsworth McMillion. Ovid was a graduate of Renick High School, attended WVU, was a CPL in the US Army and retired in 1992 from Bethlehem Steel in Dundalk, MD after 37+ years of service as a Millwright and upon retirement returned to Renick to live. He was an avid hunter from the time he was a small boy until failed health prevented him the last couple of years. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Williams McMillion; two sons, Steve (Donna) McMillion and Rodney (Deborah) McMillion, both of Baltimore; grandson, Ryan (Jenifer) McMillion; granddaughter, Jill Ulan; great granddaughter, Brooke McMillion, all of Baltimore and numerous cousins. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, Dec. 5 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Steve Barnette officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery at Renick. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, Dec. 4 at the Funeral Home.
