Paul S. Quick

Paul S. Quick, 84, of Lewisburg passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the Brier Rehab Center in Ronceverte. Born October 9, 1927 at Miller's Mountain near Lewisburg Paul was the son of the late St. Clair "Jack" and Mamie Pearl Zimmerman Quick. He worked twenty-four years as manager of the water plant for the City of Lewisburg from 1965 until his retirement in 1989. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by eight brothers, Ova, Cecil, Lester, Maynard, Sidney, Monty, Preston, and Clarence and one sister, Zelda Falls. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy "Dot" Quick; son, Mike Quick, and wife Cindy of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Heather Hancock and Rich, Chris Quick and Juliana, and Kevin Quick; a sister, Grace Quick of Lewisburg, and a brother, Lloyd Quick of Lewisburg. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday Oct. 29 at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg with Rev. Ron Miller officiating. .
