Peggy Jean Lockhart

LEWISBURG, WV – Peggy Jean Lockhart, 71 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV. Born January 13, 1953, in Caldwell, WV she was the daughter of the late David Easley Defibaugh and Beaulah Catherine Morgan Defibaugh Wykle.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy White and seven siblings.

Survivors include her husband, James Lockhart Sr., sons, James Lockhart Jr. and David White, daughter, Jeannie Lockhart (Richard Hardiman), grandchildren, Eliza Hardiman, Angel Lockhart and James Lockhart and her dog, Fii-Bee.

Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV with Billy Adkins officiating.
