HILLSBORO, WV – Avery Arnold “Pete” Hambrick, Jr., 63 of Hillsboro, WV passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV. Born March 10, 1958, in Marlinton, WV he was the son of the late Avery Arnold Hambrick Sr. and Mary Danese Lewis Hambrick. Pete was a logger most of his life and was an avid bear hunter. Survivors include his children, William A. Hambrick (Brenda Clay) of Crawley, WV, Avery A. Hambrick III of Hillsboro, WV, Christina Hope Lester (Floyd) of Alderson, WV, former spouse, Emma Hambrick of Renick, WV, brothers, Willie Hambrick (Jennifer) of Renick, WV and Buck Hambrick of Renick, WV, sisters, Becky Jo Hambrick of Trout, WV, Nancy Holliday (Kevin) of Caldwell, WV, Joyce Rudd of Lewisburg, WV, Mary Ann Cochran of Renick, WV and Louise Scott of Renick, WV, eight grandchildren, special nephew, Peewee Hambrick, several nieces and nephews.
