Phillip Lawrence Dowdy

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV – Phillip Lawrence Dowdy, 70 of White Sulphur Springs, WV passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the Peyton Hospice House. Born April 13, 1954, in White Sulphur Springs, WV he was the son of the late Jimmy and Stella Hoke Dowdy.

Phillip was a logger and a Christian.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-four years, Wanda Dowdy, sons, Jimmy and Phillip Dowdy, daughter, Alexandria Killion (Ronnie), sister, Sherrie Dowdy, grandchildren, Aden Colt, Adair, and Emyrson Dowdy and Zane Killion.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ralph Hubbard officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in the Dowdy Cemetery at Glace. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net.
