Phyllis Ann Grimmett

LEWISBURG, WV – Phyllis Ann Grimmett, 76 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Peyton Hospice House.  Born September 27, 1942 at Green Sulphur Springs, WV she was the daughter of the late Edward Monroe and Anna Williams Fox.  Mrs. Grimmett was a member of the Lewisburg Baptist Church.  She was an Operator and worked in the Business Office for AT&T and retired from ABB as an Accounting Specialist.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Susan Fox.  Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-four years, Graden Reece Grimmett, son, Rodney Reece Grimmett (Katherine) of Boones Mill, VA, daughter, Gina Lynn Mitchell (Donald) of Charlottesville, VA, grandchildren, Ryan Reece Grimmett (Emily), Regan Lewis Grimmett, Connor Reece Mitchell, Caden Andrew Mitchell and Cameron Brady Mitchell, great grandson, Graden Reece Grimmett, brothers, Alfred Fox (Jenny Ann), Roger Fox (Anna) and David Fox, sister, Carol Sowder (Ronnie), several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Lewisburg Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Comer officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg, WV.  Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Morgan Funeral Home – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV.  Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net.  Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
