Phyllis Marie Dowdy Miller

White Sulphur Springs, WV – Phyllis Marie Dowdy Miller, 61, passed away, Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Peyton Hospice House following an extended battle with cancer.  Born August 27, 1958 at Union, WV, she was the daughter of the late Glenn Richmond and Marie Belle Boggs Dowdy.  Phyllis was employed at Greenbrier Technical Services in Ronceverte, WV and attended Bethesda Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, Eric Lee Taylor.  Survivors include her loving husband of twenty six years, Danny Miller, step son, Daniel Todd Miller of Covington, VA, brothers, Lewis Richmond Dowdy (Connie) of Hopewell, VA and Jeff Dowdy (Michele) of Ronceverte, WV sisters, Donna Dowdy Trent (Buddy) of Ronceverte, WV and Gail Evans of Gap Mills, WV, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gary Baker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Organ Cave, WV.  Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the funeral home.  Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net.  Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
