Phyllis Ann Poe

Williamsburg, WV – Phyllis Ann Poe, 79 of Williamsburg, WV passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Peyton Hospice House, Lewisburg, WV.  Born June 12, 1940 at Lewisburg, WV she was the daughter of the late James Walker and Chloe Zelma Clevenger Dillion.  She was a member of the Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church.  Phyllis retired from the Greenbrier Manor as a CNA.  She had also worked at Kellwood, Greenbrier Center and the Dunmore Nursing Home.  Phyllis was also a former member of the Williamsburg Fire and Rescue Department and a Cub Scout Den Mother.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Lee Poe and William Joseph “Billy” Poe.  Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Emanuel Lee Poe, daughter, Drema Poe of Middletown, OH, brother, James Dillion (Patty) of Manassas, VA, six grandchildren, two great granddaughters, two nieces and five great nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 12:00 Noon, Monday, August 5, 2019 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  It was Phyllis’ wish to be cremated.  Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net .  Arrangements by Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
