Ralph Edward Heavner

Ralph Edward Heavner, 73, of Greenbrier County, WV, passed away August 12, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born July 8, 1953 in Marlinton, West Virginia. He is the son of the late Ernestine Barbara Moore and the late Ralph Heavner.

Also, preceded in death by his wife Roberta Heavner; his sisters, Terry Lynn McClung and Brenda Jean Heavner; brother, Gary Junior Heavner, and Granddad, Jess Moore.

Ralph worked at Denmar as a custodian and at Young's Grocery Store for many years throughout his life.

Ralph enjoyed hunting and playing his Yahtzee game talking to his many friends on the phone including his best friend, Doris Casto.

Ralph will be remembered for his love, laughter and jokes.

Survivors include his sister, Kathleen Gladwell and brother, Jess Heavner (Bev), and many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Viewing for Ralph will be held Tuesday, August 18 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Drive Lewisburg, WV 24901. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Vince Deeds officiating.
