Ralph Edward Heavner

Ralph Edward Heavner, 73, of Greenbrier County, WV, passed away August 12, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born July 8, 1953 in Marlinton, West Virginia. He is the son of the late Ernestine Barbara Moore and the late Ralph Heavner.

He is also, preceded in death by his sisters, Terry Lynn McClung and Brenda Jean Heavner, brother, Gary Junior Heavner, and Granddad, Jess Moore.

Ralph worked at Denmar as a custodian and at Young's Grocery Store for many years throughout his life.

Ralph enjoyed hunting, playing his Yahtzee game and talking to his many friends on the phone including his best friend, Doris Casto.

Ralph will be remembered for his love, laughter and jokes.

Survivors include his sister, Kathleen Gladwell, brother, Jess Heavner (Bev), and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation for Ralph will be held at Morgan Funeral Home, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV 24901, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 12 p.m., with Pastor Vincent Deeds officiating.
