Ramona Hughes

Ramona Dare Hughes, 64 of Williamsburg, VA passed away Sunday, January 12, 2026, at Doctors Hospital, Williamsburg, VA. Born in Frankford, WV May 3, 1961, to the elate Lawrence Preston Hughes and Virginia Gillilian Hughes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion Denver. Survived by Sisters: Kathryn Hughes (Mitchell) and Janet Loudermilk (Estil) and brothers: Richard Shields (Marilyn), Rodney Fogus (Brenda) and Michael Fogus (Debbie).

Ramona attended Grove Community Church Williamsburg, VA where a remembrance service will be held Feb 1.

The family thanks the Church and especially Linda Gill for their help and love for her.

As per Ramona’s wishes, she was cremated and burial will be in Memorial Gardens. There will be no services.
