Ray Dotson

NEOLA, WV – Damon Ray Dotson, 68 of Neola, WV formerly of Summersville, WV passed away, Wednesday, January 4, 2018 at his home. Born July 1, 1949 at Sharples, WV he was the son of the late Boody and Mary Ann Williams Dotson. Ray was a U. S. Army Veteran and he attended the Wild Meadow Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia “Ann” Dotson, son, Kevin (Angela) Dotson of Summersville, WV, daughters, Loretta (Charlie) Sanson of Cowen, WV, Donna (Jerry) Barnett of Dille, WV and Heaven (Jason) Yoder of Summersville, WV, sisters, Alice (Lester) Ferrell, Charlotte (Ronnie) Perdue and Sherry (Scott) Smith all of Peytona, WV, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews including two great nieces. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Wild Meadow Baptist Church, Rt. 92, White Sulphur Springs, WV with Pastor Roger “Wahoo” McDaniel and Pastor Ralph Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, Sunday at the church.
