Raymond L. Taylor

Raymond L. Taylor, 57, of Lewisburg and formerly of Caldwell passed away June 12, 2016 at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea after a long battle with cancer.Born October 8, 1958 at Union, he was the son of the late Ervin Taylor and Shirley Ruth Persinger. Raymond spent his life doing auto body work and auto body painting which he enjoyed the most.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son.Surviving family include one daughter, Amanda Flora of Debary, FL; four sisters, Linda Hughart of Frankford, Patricia Taylor of Lewisburg, Barbara Scruggs of La Grange, GA, and Lisa Hoke of Hollywood, WV; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.Per Raymonds request there will be no services.In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses to the account of Linda Hughart at the Bank of Monroe. Any extra monies received would be donated to the Peyton Hospice House.The family would like to thank the Peyton Hospice House for their excellent care during his last days.
