Richard Coffman

LEWISBURG, WV – Harrell Richeson “Richard” Coffman, 79, of Lewisburg, WV passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Peyton Hospice House. Born November 23, 1938 at Ronceverte, WV he was the son of the late Harrell and Marie Richeson Coffman. Richard had retired as a Supervisor from Verizon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Bostic Coffman, sisters, Hallie Bland (Pat) and Margaret Coffman, brothers, John Keith Coffman and Guy Coffman and great grandson, Braxton Kent Byars. Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Bowyer (Steve) of Flat Mountain and Susan Honaker (Donnie) of Lewisburg, son Steve Coffman (Patty) of Lewisburg, grandchildren, Bruce Bowyer, Stephanie Bowyer Byars (Thomas), Brandon White, Zerubbabel “Zoobie” Coffman, and Josh Honaker, two great grandchildren; Josie Lynn Byars and Gracie Nicole Byars, sisters, Nellie Tuckwiller (Robert) of Asbury and Sara Morris (Roy) of Ronceverte. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Rhema Christian Center, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Stewart Farley officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of the service, Tuesday at the church.
