Robert Elvey Halstead

LEWISBURG, WV – Robert Elvey “Bobby” Halstead, 71 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Friday, August 25, 2023, at Seneca Trail Healthcare, Lewisburg, WV. Born December 5, 1951, in Wikel, WV, he was the son of Hilda Meredith Halstead and the late Robert Newman Halstead. Bobby was a member of the Edgewood Presbyterian Church and was a US Army Veteran. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Janet Linton.

Survivors include a son, William Halstead (Linda) of Onalaska, WA, grandchildren, Dakota and Aryanna Halstead, step grandchildren, Courtney McLachlan  and Chloe Gibbs, brother, Jerry Halstead (Dreama) of Lewisburg, WV, sisters, Judy McFall (Harold Rhodes) of Fairlea, WV, Cathy Osborne (Don) of Crawley, WV, and Crystal Yates (Joey) of Fairlea, WV, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Memorial service will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the Edgewood Presbyterian Church, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Kenny Baker officiating.
