Robert Lee Ridgeway

Robert Lee Ridgeway, 79, of Fort Spring passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 in Summers County Nursing and Rehab Center. Born December 30, 1932 in Ronceverte, he was the son of the late George H. and Janie Hutchinson Ridgeway and was preceded in death his wife, Juanita Ridgeway; brothers, Carl, Earl and Herman Ridgeway and sister, Ethel Deem. Bob was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired farmer. Survivors include his step-son, Coy Archer and wife, Peggy of Ft. Spring; grandsons, Coy Archer Jr. and John Roger Archer Jr.; granddaughters, Michelle Horney, Elizabeth Archer and Pamela; nine great grandchildren; brother, Charles Ridgeway and wife, Catherine of Hillsdale; sisters, Mary Persinger of Organ Cave and Nancy Morgan of Ronceverte and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Monday July 30 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Edward Midcap officiating.
