Robert David Underwood

FRANKFORD, WV – Robert David “Bob” Underwood, 79 of Frankford, WV passed away at his home, December 17, 2020.  Born May 27, 1941 in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Pierce David Underwood and Hattie Sue Williamson.  Bob was a member of the Lewisburg Community Pentecostal Holiness Church.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a retired Mechanic from the WV Department of Highways. Bob Loved to hunt, cut wood, and watch western movies.  He was an extraordinarily strong man and was a jack of all trades.  Beyond all, his grandchildren were his greatest joy in life.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Blackburn, and Margaret Tremaine.  Survivors include his loving wife of fifty years, Arella Blankenship Underwood, son, Patrick Underwood (Kesha) of Frankford, WV, daughter, Jennifer Harrah (Michael) of Asbury, WV, grandchildren, Ian and Madison Seal, Bryson, Kaelyn, Kyah, Sawyer and Slade Underwood, several nieces, and nephews.
