Ronald Lee Cook

Ronald Lee Cook, 49, of Alderson went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 28, 2012. Born May 22, 1962, he was the son of the late Thomas Cook and Mary Cook of Cole Camp, MO Ron was known to his friends and family as a man that had a heart as big as the world. He enjoyed helping people in need. Ron will be missed by those lives that were touched by his love for helping others. He enjoyed working outside mowing grass and taking care of his flowers. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Cook; brother, Danny Cook; sister, Marlene Cook and grandparents, George and Vesta Blake. Survivors include his wife, Terry Cook of Alderson; sons, Ronald Cook Jr and fiance, Brittany Graybill of Alderson, Jeffery Cook and companion, Olivia Hogston of Alderson and Kash Cook of Alderson; grandchildren, Thomas Cook of Renick, Daniel and Michael Cook of Alderson and Kalynn Cook of Alderson; mother, Mary Cook of Cole Camp, MO; sister Jeanie Blankenship and husband, Paul of Cole Camp, MO; brother, Wade Cook and companion, Marlene of VA; nephews, Josh and Jacob Blankenship of Cole Camp, MO; niece Amanda Harmon and Bill of WV and other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Ron will be greatly missed by his best friend, Al Greener whom Ron called his true brother. Service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastor Bill Harmon and Brother Ervin Corner officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery at Renick. Family and friends may call from 6 to 9 PM on Monday, March 5 at Morgan Funeral Home.
