Rosa Lea Bennett

LEWISBURG, WV – Rosa Lea Bennett, 79 of Lewisburg, WV passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Lewisburg Health Care Center. Born December 3, 1943, in Organ Cave, WV she was the daughter of the late Theodore Pat and Hazel Gertrude Holmes Workman. Rosa retired from ABB as a Electronic Technician. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Gene Bennett, son, Loyd Gene Bennett Jr, brothers, Hubert, Durvie, Marlon and Jerry Workman and sisters, Ruth McCoy, and Dottie Clinebell.

Survivors include two sons, Roscoe and Gary Bennett of Lewisburg, brothers, Curtis Workman and Bradford Workman of Lewisburg, WV and sisters Lucille Hill of Lewisburg, Donna Bostic (Larry) of Pickaway, WV, and Linda Spencer (Earl) of Frankford, WV, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday November 7, 2023, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Jacob Riley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, Tuesday. Burial will follow in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Germany Road, Frankford, WV.
