Ruth M. Crookshanks

Ruth M. Crookshanks, 94, of Clintonville passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Greenbrier Manor in Fairlea. Born March 30, 1919 at Trout, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Lula Gladwell Truex and in addition to her parents was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Crookshanks; three children, Hazel Benson, Henry Crookshanks, and Jackie Webb and 11 siblings, Everett, Clarence, Florence, Ina, Ronuel, Lorena, Beulah, Fred, Charlotte, Mildred and Goldie. Mrs. Crookshanks was a member of Sinking Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Helen Snyder of Carolina Shores, NC, Howard Webb of Philadelphia, PA, Hayden Webb and Hildie Chaffin of Craigsville, Mary Ann Grizzell of Trout, Millie Arbaugh of Asbury, and Fred Crookshanks of Clintonville; 26 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren and5 great great grandchildren and one sister, Geraldine Brown of Summersville.Service:2:00 PM SaturdayMarch 15, 2012Sinking Creek Baptist ChurchClintonville, WVVisitation:12:00 to 2:00 PM SaturdayMarch 15, 2014Sinking creek Baptist Church
