Sadie Jean Dotson

Sadie Jean Dotson, 93, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center. Born November 14, 1931, in Sinks Grove, WV, she was the beloved daughter of the late Jake H. and Iva L. Stanley Fleshman.

Sadie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William Edward Dotson, and her cherished sons, Daniel, William, and James Dotson. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Jake, May, June, and Annabelle.

Sadie leaves behind a loving family, including her son, David Dotson (Erin), daughter-in-law, Nancy Dotson, and sister, Leanna Hope Aliff. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Emma Harvey (Matthew), Isabel, Jamie, and Jeremy Dotson, as well as her great-grandson, Ben. A close family friend, Patty Thomas, also holds a special place in her memory.

A funeral service to honor Sadie’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel in Lewisburg, WV. Friends and family may pay their respects during a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Following the service, Sadie will be laid to rest in the Clayton Church Cemetery, Clayton, WV.
