Samuel Ray Sizemore Sr, 79, of Trout died Thursday, February 05, 2015 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a short illness. Born August 3, 1935, he was the son of the late Samuel Davis Sizemore and the late Jessie Lewis Sizemore Baldwin and in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Stella Scott Sizemore; two brothers, Don and Dale Sizemore and two sisters, Lottie Sizemore and Naomi Sizemore Kincaid. Ray retired from Greenbrier Valley Solid Waste and was honorably discharged from the United States Army after serving during the Korean War. He is survived by his children, Samuel Ray Sizemore Jr and Marie of Ronceverte, Sherry Sizemore Boggs and Greg of Crawley and Steve Sizemore and Denise of Lewisburg; grandchildren, Tanyia Hazelwood of Ronceverte, Tiffany Sims of Ronceverte, Cassie Swift of Crawley and Cody Sizemore of Lewisburg; great grandchildren, Madison Meadows of Ronceverte, Tanner Sizemore of Lewisburg and Zandrew Sims of Ronceverte; a great great granddaughter, Violet Meadows; sisters, Dorothy Hunter of Crawley, Delta Thomas and Lisa Fitzgerald of Williamsburg and Jenny Sizemore of New Martinsville, VA; brothers, Hugh Baldwin of Alderson, Randy Baldwin of Rupert, Jerry Baldwin of Smoot, William "Tucker" Sizemore of Williamsburg and James Sizemore of Asbury and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be 11:00 AM Monday February 9, 2015 at Trout Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Windy Knoll Cemetery at Williamsburg.
