WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV - Sara C. Smith, 86, of White Sulphur Springs passed away Friday, March 10, 2017 at her home. Born March 6, 1931 at White Sulphur Springs, WV she was the daughter of the late Carl Hopkins and Leona Nadine Ayres Robertson. Sara was a Registered Nurse and had worked for Dr. Martin in White Sulphur Springs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Brown Middleton, son in law, Mark Morningstar, great grandson, Coll Thomas and a brother, Thomas Willard Robertson. Those remaining to cherish her memory are a son, Tommy Cary and wife Nancy of Arborvale, WV, daughter, Carol Anne Morningstar of White Sulphur Springs, WV, grandchildren, Christy Thomas Eggleston and husband Rodney of Gap Mills, WV, Jason Brown of Ronceverte, WV, Hannah Morningstar Stout and husband Nick of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Chance Thomas of Lewisburg, WV, sister, Bertie Carol "Petie" Hamood and husband Robert of Bristol, VA, several nieces and nephews.Memorial service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
