Shirley Ann Cosby

Shirley Ann Cosby, 57 of Alderson passed away on Friday April 15, 2016 at her home following a battle with cancer.Born October 6, 1958 she was the daughter of Margret Cosby and the late Floyd Cosby. In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her sister Mary Cosby. Shirley was of the Baptist faith.Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Renee Freeman of San Diego, CA and Pamela Freeman of Alderson, WV ; grandchildren Tyler Lockhart of San Diego, CA; her mother Margret Cosby of Alderson, WV, siblings Floyd Cosby Jr. and wife Patricia of Roanoake, VA; David Cosby and companion, Deanna Knapp of Alderson WV; Betty Cosby and companion, Curtis Haynes of Alderson WV. Nieces and Nephews Alicia Angel and husband Donnie of Ronceverte, Jonathan Cosby and Chandler Cosby of Alderson, WV and Briana Hall of Fairlea, WV; Great nieces and nephew Ariana, Alexa and Mara Angel of Ronceverte, WV and Zariona and Zayden Cosby of Failea, WV.Services will be held Wednesday April 20, 2016 at the River of Life Church in Alderson with Rev. Anthony Carter officiating.Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Service will follow at 1 p.m. She will be laid to rest at the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church Cemetary in Alderson.
