Shirley Stidom Rudd

Shirley Rudd, 67, of Maxwelton passed away Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea. Born on Carroll Hill, Lewisburg in the home of her grandmother, Maggie Fuller, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Kathryn Fuller Stidom. She was a 1965 graduate of Frankford High School and worked most of her life in food service. She owned and operated Kozy Korner Kafe in Lewisburg for a number of years where her desserts of pies, cakes and candies from "scratch" were her specialties and they were "special". She is survived by her companion and friend of 25 years, Murl Shortridge; her son, Mike Fisher and his wife, Darla of Frankford; grandchildren, Brittany and Jason Fisher, sisters, Connie Boothe and Tom of Friars Hill and Hazel Bostic and Dave of White Sulphur Springs and a special cousin, Lynn Fuller of Lewisburg. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Rev. Ron Miller officiating.
