Shirley Grace Skiles

ALDERSON, WV – Shirley Grace Ray Skiles, 72, of Alderson, WV passed away January 6, 2018 at the Peyton Hospice House. Born October 13, 1945 at Friars Hill, WV she was the daughter of the late John Mack Ray Sr. and Edna Irene Stanley Ray. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Mack Ray Jr. and David Ray, nephew, Ray Morrison and nieces, Carolyn, Donna and Bobbie Jo. Shirley was a member of the Band of Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include her fiancé, Wayne Oscar of Alderson, WV, sisters, Nina Morrison of Iron Gate, VA, Elizabeth (David) Canada of White Sulphur Springs, WV, nephew, Charles (Debbie) Morrison, nieces, April Palmer and Janet Gordon, great nephews, David (Ada) Morrison and Darrell Kimberlin, extended family, Sue Scott, Phyllis Oscar, Ina Mae Kirk, Evelyn Fitzwater, Jewell Wickline, Carol Criner and James Steven Oscar. It was Shirley’s wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be 4:00 PM, Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV.
