Silas Paul Brant

Silas Paul Brant, 66, of Lewisburg passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at his home. He was born May 22, 1946 at Lewisburg and was the son of the late Estil and Julia Terry Brant. Paul was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was retired from the Greenbrier Hotel with 29 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Edith Brant, Gladys Davis, Janet Osborne and Nellie Markham and brothers, Billy Brant, Oather Brant and Gary Brant. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Brant; daughter, Jennifer Ramsey and husband, Gary and grandchildren Jarred Ramsey and Amber Ramsey of Caldwell; one brother, Kenny Brant and wife, Brenda of White Sulphur Springs; sisters, Anna Mae Napier; Betty Roach and Richard; and Alzada Thomas and Kenny, all of Lewisburg and Alice Alderman of White Sulphur Springs and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 2, 2012 at Lewisburg Baptist Church with Mr. Romie Comer officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.
