Stanley Ray Spencer Sr.

Stanley Ray Spencer Sr, 60, of Caldwell passed away on Tuesday June 18, 2013 at his home following an extended illness. Born November 16, 1952 at Vago he was the son of Laura Adams Spencer of Caldwell and the late Ernest "Pete" Spencer. Other than his father, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. Survivors include his wife, Madge Shawver Spencer of White Sulphur Springs; sons, Stanley Spencer Jr. and Ernie Spencer both of White Sulphur Springs; his mother, Laura Spencer of Caldwell; sisters, Laura "Penny" Neely and husband Ron of Highpoint, North Carolina, Donna Adwell, with whom he lived, of Caldwell, Terry Wykle and husband, Joe of Caldwell, Gail Goodale and husband, Greg of White Sulphur Springs, and Dawn Spencer of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a granddaughter, Sophia. Per Stanley's request he was cremated. There will be no service. In lieu of flowers donations of sympathy may be made toward his funeral expenses.
