Stephanie Wood

RONCEVERTE, WV – Stephanie Wood, 36 of Ronceverte, WV passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Born March 18, 1985, in Majuro, Marshall Islands, Stephanie was the daughter of Johnny Chong and the late Tammy Chong. She attended the Zions Light Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.  Stephanie was a Photographer with R & S Photography.  She was a loving devoted mommy to her children and her nieces and nephews.  Including her father, survivors are her husband of sixteen years, Franklin Wood, children, Elijah Charles, Christopher James, JoyAnna Faith and Sophie Noelle Wood, special friends, Candice Thomas (Joey) of Lewisburg, WV, and Amanda Bryant (Darrell) of Alderson, WV, her “Nanny” and second mom, Crystal Byer of Friars Hill, WV, as well as many other friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel – 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV with Pastor Gary Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the McLean Cemetery, Ronceverte, WV.  Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, December 27, 2021, at the funeral home. Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net .
