Susan Diane Erskine

RONCEVERTE, WV – Pastor Susan Diane Kirk Erskine, 66, of Ronceverte, WV went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center following a sudden illness. Born July 8, 1951 at White Sulphur Springs, WV she was the daughter of the late Cary Joseph Kirk Sr. and Thelma Gaye Williamson Kirk. Susan had worked for Greenbrier Valley Medical Center as a Business Office Manager for over 20 years. She was best known as Pastor of the New Covenant Sanctuary Church of God. She also hosted the weekly radio program, “Spirit of Truth” broadcast on WRON. Everyone who knew Susan, could feel the spirit of the Lord through her words and prayer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Victoria Jean Kirk Fraley. Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years, Tony H. Erskine, son, Michael Erskine and wife Amanda and daughter, Lori Danielle Erskine all of Ronceverte, WV, brothers, Cary Joseph Kirk Jr. and wife Susie of Renick, WV, Stephen Kirk and wife Becky of Ronceverte, WV, Denny Kirk and wife Jeannie of Kannapolis, NC, Randy Kirk and wife Kimberly of Organ Cave, WV, Mark Kirk of Fairlea, WV, J.D. Kirk and wife Patty of Salisbury, NC and Ricky Kirk and wife Shannon of Frankford, WV, sisters, Mary Gaye Steel and husband Freddie of Chicago, IL and Melissa Campbell and husband Stewart of Mooresville, NC along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Rhema Christian Center, Fairlea, WV with Pastor Freddie Steel officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Organ Cave, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the New Covenant Sanctuary Church of God on Goheen Street in Fairlea, WV.
