Susie Tincher

FAIRLEA, WV - Clara Lucille “Susie” Tincher, 78, of Fairlea, WV, passed away on April 19, 2025, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. She was born on April 23, 1946, and was the daughter of William Walter and Connie Catherine Morgan Lawhorn. Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Edward Tincher Sr., and her brother, Dewey Porterfield.
She is survived by her children Eddie Tincher (Kristen) and Debbie Ayers (Jeff), and her grandchildren E.T. Tincher, Josh Tincher, B.J. West, Chance West, Dalton Tincher, and Wade Tincher. Susie also left behind great-grandchildren Journey and Jax (expected), step-grandchildren Mason and Malia, and special friends Juanita Thomas, Thelma Pomroy, and Mary Brown, along with a host of extended family.
Additionally, she was affectionately known as MawMaw to many, including Derick “Biscuit” McCormick, Anthony Croy, Garrick Wynes, and Lucas Holliday.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg, WV.
