Teresa Ellen Johnston

FRANKFORD, WV - Teresa Ellen Johnston, 55, of Frankford, WV passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at the Peyton Hospice House, Fairlea, WV. Born May 6, 1961 at Alexandria, VA she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Phyllis Barkley. Teresa had worked for ABB, was assistant manager of Walmart and Tudors Biscuit World. She was a member of Clearview Fellowship Church. She was also a member of the American Appalachian Indians of West Virginia and the Womens Native American Drum Group, "Mother Earth Beat". In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Cox. Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Richard Johnston, daughter, Amber (Wayne) Wellman of Frankford, WV, son, Michael (Cathy) Johnston of Williamsburg, WV, grandchildren, Natilee, Madilyn and Kinsley Wellman and Ashleigh and Shane Johnston, aunt, Carol Harrah, special niece/sister, Melissa Garrett, special niece/granddaughter, Hannah Barkley, brothers and sisters, Cathy, Lisa, Mike, Brian, Scotty, Rick, David, Brenda, Patty, Rhonda and Lisa and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 19, 2017 at the Woodland Community Church, Auto, WV. Burial will follow in the Woodland Community Church Cemetery, Auto, WV. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Morgan Funeral Home, Lewisburg, WV.
